Scott Lowe flaps??
Right gonna have a go at fitting these tonight.
Do you have to remove the wheels??
If I have the lowering spring kit fitted which height do I have to use.
Thats it at this stage I think.
Will be fun as I am a numptie with anything associated with tools other than the one in my pants and I`m not very good with that either!!!

You will need to take the wheels off to fit em, unless you want to crawl around under the car rather than sit on the fllor working in the arch.
I have a lowerd car and used the lowest set of holes on the rear flaps.
They still rub on the ground tho
I found that the wheel arches already had the holes to fit the flaps so no drilling was called for. Should take about an hour hour and half at the most.

if you are a numptie like me it will really annoy you fitting these. i nearly ended up smashing up my car, i was cursing and turnin green
its easier to take them to a simple garage and pay them 50 quid to do it
trust me

Do I still need to remove the wheels if I use a ramp???
My car is an STI7 so dont know if I need to drill or not???

The flaps are pretty simple to fit, although you will probably need to drill 1 hole in each of the front arches for the self tapping screw that goes right in the inside of the arch.
The only other advise is that the little small clips that clip onto the front arch can be a right sod if they slip down the back of the sill, make sure you tape them in place first and remove the tape only after you've screwed them in.
It does make the job a whole lot easier if you remove the wheels aswell.

The fronts take a wee bit longer as you really need to get the holes spot on first time...
The instructions supplied are not too bad though...
Make sure you treat the drilled holes with some paint and also Id advice sticking some copper slip or something like that on the ends of the screws going into the metal as well... oh yeah DONT over tighten them! they thread easily.... (I mean the two holes that are drilled into the inner wing/arch)
Main thing is take your time, you want em looking spot on and not wonkey!
Good luck!

the trick i used arron was where the clips go on the front use silicone it seals the hole and keeps the tabs in place............. plus when you get it all over your car it gives you a good excuse to clean it......check the length of the lowest bolts aswell the Prodrive mudflaps i fitted didnt have long enough bolts to fit where they go through the side protection cill

how much were the flaps and where can i get some, wouldn't mind some for my wagon to stop the stones from doing a nasty to my paint but can't justify daft money (£150 odd) for subaru ones, they are only a bit of rubber surely!
