What car to buy

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and just wanted to get some opinions on what car I should get next.
The three cars I have in mind are the Subaru Impreza UK300, Audi S3 or Audi TT. I did really want the STi but the insurance was to high.
I would be grateful if you could give your opinions on the cars I have in mind. I know you will be biased, but I would still like to hear what you have to say.
Thanks in advance.

Have you driven any of them ? I think they all have their plus and minus points , I think the proof will be in the test drive , The Audi's will feel a lot more solid and refined , The scoobie a bit more on the 'raw' side .Prepare for the TT to get a good slagging off on here though !
A few test drives at the weekend sir ??

I am unsure of the TT because of the image. I have driven a few S3's. I am booked in to test drive an STI 8 and a 225bhp TT tomorrow.
I currently have a mk2 Golf GTi and didn't find the S3 that much more exciting to drive.

I think it's the same performance wise as the normal bugeye WRX , unless you have the Prodrive Performance Pack fitted (ppp) which will put your insurance up , but looks better than the normal WRX IMHO , Have a look here for some info http://www.iwoc.co.uk/my2001uk300.html

Have you thought of a Golf R32, I had one before I bought my STI. Prefer the STI but the Golf is well equipped and very good to drive, better than the S3 by a long way. There are a few available out there and a load of good deals on them too.

Anyway out of those three it has to be the Scooby every time, unless you're a hairdresser

Seem to be lots of TTs about. Perhaps not so good for exclusivity; as Top Gear mag
said, it kind of tries too hard to be cool.
Isn't there a 3.2V6 TT ? That should have lots of tuning potential.
I don't particularly like the image, but that shouldn't stop you.

True to say that you'll notice a vast difference between the performance of the STi and any of the others you've mentioned. Just hang on to the wheel, that's all I can say.... ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I have just test driven a 2002 Impreza STi and what a car. I thought I would have to go for a WRX or UK300 because of insurance, but I have just got a quote for £1100 on an STi so that's what I'm going to get.
I couldn't stop smiling after driving it. I'm not oing to bother test diving the Audi S3 or the TT.
