Default EARLY WRX JAP POWER

I heard that 92, 93 wrx jap imports were down on power compared to 94, 95 and that in 96 when the mk2 turbo2000 came out in the uk it was up again.
So what are the power differences - does anyone know?
Also does anyone know what the winning card for the top trumps is? i have all but 2 now?

The power output for the pre 95 cars were 240ps for the saloon, 220ps for the wagons, the 95/96 cars were at 260ps and the wagons at 220ps still.

have a look www.sidc.co.uk\faq.htm in section 2.1.1 all the JDM classics are listed the power is in PS which is just slightly more than bhp.

280PS = 276bhp

your car should be 276bhp as standerd mate on 100ron fuel , mine was 281 and 258 lbft with optimax and NF booster with a cat back exhaust and pannel filter that was with the downpipe cat still presant. youmay need a bit of a tune up
