Nearly ordered WR1 today but couldnt part with hard earned cash, dealer said deposit would be refunded if decided not to have a later date as he was sure someone else would want it.
Dont know what to do
are they worth the money or would i be better spending 30k on something else?
Dont know what to do

Have you driven one? Have you driven anything similar, like a current jap spec'd A-DCCD equipped STI? Why are you considering one in the first place? What's likely to change between deposit down and delivery? How long is a piece of string?
If the dealer will give you a guarantee that the deposit is refundable if you change your mind then why not just order it? If it gets amazing reviews and you like what they look like in the flesh you'll be v happy, if they dont you get your money back and start again.

Considering buying one because when i bought MY01 in WR Blue 3years ago i hardly used to see any knocking about, over the past year they have become like dog **** and getting fed up seeing blue imprezas around every corner and just want something different from rest of the world.
Does anyone know if the colour for WR1 is going to be unique to the WR1 or will we start seeing thousands of imprezas in that colour?
Cheers DTH

I was going to buy one . . . . but found a suberb Evo 330 for a LOT less money. Whilst residuals may be better then an STI, the £30k price tag represents poor VFM IMHO.
