My key fob that opens the doors isnt working, I have changed the batteries with the working one and its not them. Is this an expensive thing to replace?
Cheers,

About £76 from the (s)dealers IIRC. Or you can teach it any Sigma plipper (check instruction book, it's easy) which you can get for about £30, just won't have a key attatched.

I would have thought so. I have a Sigma on another car, so have taught the Scoob one of these. I guess your out of warranty ?
Another option I've just thought of. You could get any similar Scoob key from a scrapper, teach the car the plipper, then break it open and swap the key bit. Don't know how easy, or possible, but it would deffo be the cheapest option if do-able.

I had the same experience and went to local dealer. If you take the batteries out of the fob for any length of time it will reset itself. You can fit the new batteries and voila....nothing, you then have to re-programme using instructions.
Unfortunately mine was bust (bloody car had to be towed home as a result, no fun sat in the middle of nowhere in Jan for 4 hours), dealer got me a replacement FOC.

I paid £30 for one when I couldn't get hold of the spare when buying my used MY 00, with no charge for labour as it was done along side a service!
Note to anyone else who gets one for this reason - the alarm can remember more than 2 key fobs so make sure you/ the garage program over the key fob you don't have possession of to avoid giving anyone easy access.
