Manual boost controller for regulating boost...takes control away from the ECU.

If you fit one make sure you fit a knocklink to keep things safe

Or take the Gridlock Mikey approach and do neither but fit a bible in the glovebox and pray it doesn't blow up

Its a good little device though. Last time I looked under the hood of John Banks 400+bhp UK scooby a £35 dawes was running the show so to speak.

All well and good until you get a very cold day then you get over boosting, then its bonnet up and fiddling time till you get it right I ordered one from JG racing but they were out of stock at the time so being impatient i bought an HKS EVC V does the same job but i now have in car control and no risk of boost spikes

Some folk will take that as gospel and think a £35 dawes will give them 400bhp. Maybe for a fraction of a second before the engine melts and turbo blades wiz out the backbox at Mach 2

LOL - The turbo would probably pack a night bag and gracefully exit through the bonnet scoop

they increase the boost in a crude, semi controlled manner.

thus you get an increase in BHP.
