assuming your car dosnt have a rear wiper , I suppose it could be part of the wiring for one.

I think the black box is some electrickery that strips out the radio signal from the rear window heater element, assuming your car is one of those that uses the rear window heater as an aerial for the radio.

If you have an STi with a spoiler that incorporates the high level brake light then the second one could be the connector for an internal high level brake light stuck inside the rear window for other models that don't have a high level spoiler.

Your both probably right.

My car doesn’t have a rear wiper…..

And I think the rear window heater as an aerial for the radio.
Iv got one of the ironing board spoilers

I wish the e-mail notification was working
