Default 03 WRX PPP MPG?

Can someone who owns one of these please record their mileage and post some MPG figures? I have a really neat SS that works out averages if you need it. Need to know how it compares to standard?

Mine seems to be about 24/25 mpg for motorway work and 22/24 for cross country.

I did see thirty once though, although that must have been a fluke.

Im getting 21-23 MPG in my MY03 Wagon - although this is purely around town, short journey use.

Would expect (hope at least) around 30mpg for motorway use.

I filled up today and it took £34ish to fill it back to the top (wasn't fully empty). Petrol was 82.9 per litre.

I had done exactly 256 miles since the last fill up.

Not sure what this works at per gallon - I would guess 27/28? Any ideas?

I drive 15 miles on the M62 and another 8 in traffic each way each day during the week.

I have seen over 30 on motorway trips.

Never get under 240 miles per fill up now (usually fill it up when it gets to the fist line above empty) and it is getting better - started at 210.

13K on the clock.

Default 29.3 MPG Average over 22K miles and 10-months

I get my optimax paid for by work and they like to see receipts and mileages. so i'm pretty sure the above is quite accurate. This is done using optimax and a LOT of motorway miles - I don't do much town work though I do like the odd B-road detour - but don't we all.

Can't compare it to pre PPP to be honest as it was fitted prior to me buying the car (ex-demo). It's an 03 Wagon with the pack.

Hope that helps!

PS - Pretty shocked at that average to be honest.
PPS - Flames suit in place for jibes!!!!!!!

This does seem higher than the average but just shows what can be done. It all depends on the driving you do and the use of the loud pedal!

23-25mpg 03 WRX PPP wagon. Does'nt vary much depending on driving style. Therefore can sometimes do 300 miles between fill ups which is ok.

just to satisfy my curiosity.....

if I fill up when the petrol light comes on, I can only get 50 litres max in it. I ran with the fuel light on for about 30 miles the other day, it still only took 52 litres.

is my warning light hyper-sensitive or wot? always work out my mpg from the amount of fuel I put in, but maybe this is why I only get 200 miles between re-fills?

My warning light seems to come on with approx 9 ltrs of fuel remaining (03 WRX PPP).

Get approx 19mpg on my daily south london commute. Full tank and motorway miles only will return over 300 miles unless there are no cameras and the road is empty inwhich case it's considerably less.
