Couldn't tell which - no defining livery on the rear. In an a almost dark-red mica colour. Different. Beautiful, but different.
No, I didn't drive like a tw@t to play with him - had the family in the car, but I did try to keep up with him when he overtook some slow-moving traffic. Great roads around here for that (one of the benefits of living in the countryside!)
Anyways, as expected, he booted it to overtake, and well...... the sound was to-die-for!!!!
I was kinda going "awwwww" The wife looked at me strangely and asked what was the matter. I couldn't speak
And yes, he left me rather quickly!!! mind you, with a V12 putting out 515BHP, not really suprising (specs from Ferrari website before tech heads start whinging!!)
However, the Scoob put up a good fight (full decat & magic tree air freshener!) The difference wasn't as much as feared
Thoroughly enjoyed my time behind a Ferrari - I know what I want when I grow up (I'm 30 now )
Made my day

If he had the family in it will have been a 456, the 550/575 Maranello is a 2 seater GT. Beautiful to behold. I still look in awe when I see a prancing horse, and I see loads these days as there's a dealership 1/2 mile from my house (along with Porsche/Maserati/Lotus/Aston/Bentley). Can't wait to see the replacement 612 Scaglietti in the metal. And the DB9, when's that out
