International Motors (Subaru UK) Launch Spec D
At long last IM have bowed to pressure from enthusiasts and Launch Spec D, the car is based on USDM 2.5 litre block with triple scroll turbo and three way diesel particulate catalytic converters. Expected power output is 350ps with 355 lbs of torque with diesel consumption of 55mpg at a steady 56 mph.
The UK is the first to get this car and it will be a limited edition of 500 the colour is dark cerise pink and they are going to make car number 13 this time so you could be the lucky one!!!
I am off to my local dealer this lunch time to put my £500 non returnable deposit down, can't wait to find out delivery time and colour of interior and rest of spec.

Has anybody seen one yet
How will you use yours
Anybody know of any web sites where their are pictures
Will there be a reduction in insurance costs as it's a diesel
Who will be fist to get theirs
Will it have better resale value as it's a special addition

good job I got me a WR1 on order.
|t's going to take some time and a couple of track days to win me over for a diesel car.
NEVER mind it's PINK!!!!!!
At least, anything pink tends to make my finger stink.
The should market these a women, cut the power to 50bmp for the school run and nipping down to Tescos. They would have to make sure there's a bigger interia mirror for the makeup and flapping the paint on.
