Default Oil temp sender bung?

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the blanking bung that is near No 3 cylinder, on top of the engine, under the intercooler unit. This is so I can fit a oil temp sender unit (fitted into an adaptor bung) in it's place.

I've tried using a large 8mm allen key and spanner, putting as much force as possible on it, but I can't get it to budge at all.

Tomorrow I'll have access to a allen driver and extension bar which hopefully will move it.

Question - is it normal for the bung to be this hard to move?

Thanks,

Chris.
