Sorry to hear of your bad news, Ive only just had my boot lid repaired after these scum bags tried to rip off the v5 spoiler. It was too twisted & left uneven gaps either side.
Its seems more common now that the scums bags are nicking rear spoilers.

Sink razor blades just under the surface on the underside of the top fin = sliced scum hands.

THIS ONE WAS BOLTED AND BONDED TO THE BOOT COS' IT HAD BEEN STOLEN B4, BUT THEY HAVE WRENCHED IT OFF, NOT TOO WORRIED ABOUT DAMAGING THE ALLI BOOT LID.

I really fancied a STI 5/6 spoiler but now im in two minds over it. Its more than one post ive read now that pertains to big spoilers getting nicked. Really bad crack

This is all too commonplace now

A guy in my work had his MY00 mid level spoiler blagged ffs!

I mean, they change hands for under 100 notes, so its not as if they are valuable/hard to come by....

It'll be on some bloody Nova or Corsa now I'd imagine....

Question

Guys, looking on E-Bay, there are loads of STi/WRX/Impreza badges, some spoilers, wheels, Etc, Etc for sale. i.e.: stuff attached to the outside of a scooby.

How can Mr.Honest (that's me, by the way) be sure that I'm not about to buy a nicked piece of equipment???

Very sorry to see yet another one of these threads - really feel for you chap. I'm one of those who really knows how you feel too - had my Sti5 TypeR spoiler crowbarred off 2 Sundays ago and it leaves a very bitter taste.
The last 2 weeks have been spent preferring to drive the missus's car, rather than my temporarily bare(and dented)ar$ed affair.

Genuine purchase ??? I think not.
