From another thread it appears you can claim tax relief when running your own car in lieu of a company car.

This was news to me, I only thought you could claim the difference between the mileage rate your company gives you and the mileage rate the IR thinks you should have.

Is this what was referred to is there more to it than that?

I opted out in Jan and got a Scoob, so this years tax return is the 1st time I have this to think about.
