Hi guy's,my name is Hayley and I have just purchased a 1997 Impreza 2.0 Sport. Its a 4 door and in sonic blue with 16" gold alloys.
Any help and advice with what mods I can do would be very helpful.
Is there any good scooby speicalists in the Berkshire area.
Thanks Hayley.

Looks tidy. Depends how much you want to spend really. It looks like the exhaust has already been done, so how about a Green panel filter next (air filter)? Colour coded handles and mirrors always look good.

I dont think they ever did sonic blue as a colour in the uk except on limited editions (thus the reason you dont see any sonic blue turbos except imports).

PS, the paint code is 74F for sonic blue.

This was my old car, its in sonic blue and is slightly darker (scooby58 who occasionally pops up on here has a reddish blue turbo and we have parked side by side, not much in it until your close up).

Anyway, you want mods?
Ok, start with the brakes, getting hold of some 4 pots from the later model scoobs will set you back around 400 quid with discs, they will drastically improve your stopping power , you will need to shop around for the likes of an exhaust, back boxes from turbos dont necessarily fit the sport so browse some of these sites and see what they have to offer

www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk
www.scoobymania.co.uk
www.jap-innovations.co.uk
then you can look at filters and induction kits, brakes should be your first priority though, check with your insurer as they may well load alot on you for modifying your car

No, its slightly lighter but not by much, its the reddish flecks in the paint that give it its name, very nice colour though but hard to tell the difference unless parked next to a sonic blue car.
