Default How to glue/stick a spoiler on?

I have an STI3 low leval spoiler that I need to glue or stick down as the threads are all messed up. Any advice would be great, thanks.

no, i bourght a carbon spoiler on ebay and i just got it fixed but when trying to put it on the car, none of the holes would take the bolts apart from one. It has the remenants of glue and silicone on it so it looks like this was how the previous owner had it fixed on.

Could you not re-tap the holes for a bigger bolt size? Then use a silicone sealant as a seal.

Silicone alone will NOT hold it and if it does fall off and hit someone you could find yourself in a spot of bother

You need to use bond - takes at least 24 hours to dry.

Quick-Steel's what you need. Get some quick-steel from a decent motor shop. Fill the holes with it put some wd40/grease something like that on the bolts and screw them in. Allow quick-steel to dry over night. Unscrew bolt from holes they wont have stuck because of wd40 used and you will be left with a new thread of correct size. Clean up any sharp edge's and bolt to car.
