I had insurance when i was 21 with 4 years NCB for £1250 FC w Tracker Monitor on MY98 UKT. Limited mileage + high voluntary excess yadda yadda... Tesco.
Although they'd quote me on a coupe Impreza 6 months ago they won't anymore. Got me worried that insurance premiums are spiralling and insuring at 23 is going to be a bigger pest than at 21.

Tesco fully comp £1900 driveway parked with tracker and cat1
next best was admiral at £2600!
Although we live near manchester so quotes seem higher than other parts of the country on most cars !!
L+V said they wont touch a scooby unless you're 30 to me the other day !!

Im 21, no one would touch me for insurance on my own name, so i had to go with my dad as named driver, i pay £1.600 with Elephant.co.uk, i wanted a scooby so bad that was the only way. My mate who is 22 had a quote on his own name with 1 years no claims and they wanted £4000.

If you simply "wanted a scooby" really bad, you'd have been better off with a Sport insured in your own name. Same comment goes to the other guy who was asking.
