Hi folks,had my MY96 STi for 1 week now and i still cant beleive how feckin quick it is ,Right i have some questions its fitted with a boost gauge but its not connected up ,were do i connect it to ???? Also how do i turn the front fog light on ???????? i cant find a switch ,there is a switch but it only turns the rear fog lamp on thanks for any help David.................

 

Hmm, IIRC (but don't quote me on this) the front fogs only come on if you fit a dump valve (eg a Blitz Supersonic). I had a Subaru mechanic explain to me that it had something to do with the ECU's burberry management or something like that, I wasn't really listening because there was this fit girl walking past the dealership window...

As for the boost gauge, on the non-sti there is supposed to be a plug on the manifold you can connect it to, but maybe that doesn't apply to your year or the STI Try doing a search for it, it's been explained loads of times for the classics (pre-bug-eye imprezas)..

for dump valves, give tsl motorsport (http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk) a ring, they'll sort you one out

 

front fogs automaticlly come in within 1 mile radius of any McDonalds.bit like those rain sensing wipers....

 

poor bloke cant find a switch and your on him like lions on a zeebra.
