Sniff sniff, what's that I smell, bull****?
In your first post on this forum, Mr WRX (fancy your parents naming you after a car!), you claimed you were eighteen, and that was back in February. It's pretty obvious that in the intervening time you've invented a device which enables you to warp time and space so that, rather than get two months older, you have actually become two years younger.
Suggest you give your device a groovy, acronymic name (clue: TARDIS has already gone), and sell it to some American superfirm for $billions. That way you will be able to afford both the car, and the insurance, which could, for a new driver, run into, well £thousands.
OTOH, you could always quit trolling and spend the time you save on your spelling, punctuation and grammar, all of which could do with a little attention.

Is it me or is type of **** post becoming really regular. Good job we have the GM police around
Its a bit like that "Subaru's are on high alert" thread. I think the fact you can buy a scoob for £4k now has something to do with it. A few years back, it was a lot less wide boy / pikey / illiterate / bling bling / neontastic / kicking megabass / baseball hat / 2 slappers in the back seat / cruising / 6" straight through exhaust / flame kit orientated.
Now its all, "aw mate, I got this big exhaust on the back of me car mate. mate mate mate. Oh, mate a bit more mate." etc.
Just my thoughts though, or am I wrong?

I'v always wanted a scoob, even before i started learning to drive, and when i my dad ordered his 98' Impreza Sport, i pursaded him to get a turbo 2000, but he would'nt have it.
and when i passed my driving test (2nd time) in my own car a ...wait for it, A Subaru Justy 1.2 GLII a beast of a car with rather goot handling, that kinda eased the pain of not having a scooby.
I so badly wanted a impreza, but i knew i would have to wait a few years (3-4 yrs) until i could 1. afford one and 2. get insured on one that was a reasonable amount i.e. £1500 max.
...And now that my dad has sold his sport for a 03 WRX in WR blue and Gold alloys and since being a member of SN i so really want a scoob. seeing all the lovely looking Impreza's out there and that 'flat four' noise to die for!!...that has to be up there with the Ferrari 360 V8 and the V12's of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin!
So may be my dream car (Ferrari, Lamborghini) has changed...er..er, i don't thick so. i will still want a scoob even, if i own a supercar!
so, my point is 'impreza_wrx' wait untill you have passed your driving test and wait a few years untill your NCB has build up and get a sport, as owners of impreza sports who are members on http://www.imprezasport.net/ , of which some of them are young drivers like u and myself (19 yrs) have got sports at the age of 20-21 with 2-3K insurance! thats still nopt brilliant, but its a start, working your way uo to either a import WRX or a UK WRX or STi. then you should be pleased of you self when you own your very own scoob whatever is is. hope thats clear!!
p.s. Im still waiting to own asooob, like many other Subaru Impreza Enthusiasts.

Its true!
When i was 18 i went to a subaru import place in Bristol and test drove an RA. Absolutely blew me away. So i said i would have it, got the quotes ( i always do things backwards)!! and for the people that would even quote me, the prices were between £5k and £7500 for one year, TPFT!! That was with a clean licence and one years no claims.
You will have to wait . Im 24 now ang got my scoob when i was 23 with the other half and the insurance is now £900 TPFF. Still alot, but it shows what a few years differance makes. But believe me, its worth the wait, as all the guys on hear will agree on 100%
