24/7 Air Field Track day Tyres??
#1
Hi there are a lucky bunch of us going to Oxfordshire for the air field track day on the 24/7.
Can anyone remember what the call was about the tyre fitters that will be present?I have tried to find the previous thread but had no joy.
I thought we had to pre order the tyres with the company, pay for them and they would fit them after you'd blitzed your existing ones.
Can't find the thread thus can't order my tyres, don't want to crawl back to Sunny Sidcup with no grip really.
...Thanks Ian

Yep, that's what my email from Jonny says:
options as I see it are:-
Yokohama A520/A539 @ £85 each (best in the dry - wear quickly but great on
track)
Pirelli PZero @ £115 each (best all rounder)
Bridgestone S02 @ £120 each (best in the wet)
all prices include VAT & fitting on the 24th.
we usually on need 24 hours notice to get any of the above in. all the prices are for 205/50/ZR16 which I assuem your'e running on the STD impreza rims?
What are people doing about brakes and tyre pressures?
Greg
