Question WR1 Owners, Trade In and Finance

Those lucky people who have got their WR1's, I was wondering what you all did regards to trade in and getting finance if needed. I'm gonna be doing trade in/some cash/some finance.

Did you get what you expected on your trade in? Bearing in mind that there is nothing to haggle on the price I wonder what happened.

Can anyone give me some idea of what finance offers they got. I just wonder what sort of APR I should be aiming for at the dealer's or whether it would be cheaper for me to sort it now through a bank.

Thanks

hmmm, if I do sort it through a bank maybe my loan will be nearly repaid by the time I get the WR1...

Should easily get an APR of just under 8% - don't accept any more. Good loan deals to be had.

Difficult position to haggle from though.

Can't comment on the WR1 specifically, but we got 7.7% on a PCP via IM Finance on our WRX SL. We felt this was pretty good compared to our previous finance deals with Ford Credit.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly

So, looking for 7.5-8% or less I guess. Anyone else get better quotes?

Thanks all.

I use Lombard and get about 6.5% APR, IM should be able to match. If you are borrowing £25k, look at balanced payements - interest calculated daily. Good way if you sell your car early.

You certainly should be able to get below 7% APR.
