Its funny you lot are saying that because whenever ive been out in my newage i always wave and very rarely get one back from anyone in a classic!! i went past 5 in about 10 minutes and didnt get acknowledged once......unlucky it may be but i think it works both ways guys!

I've found the worst offenders for not waving are the Scoob estates driven by mainly miserable looking middle-aged people ... in my little universe midle-aged being 40+
Sometimes I don't wave, but that's usually because I haven't realised it's a Scoob until too late ... if only they'd drive slower I'd have a chance of reacting in time

STi8 drivers are the worst - only one has ever waved at me (and that was just up the road from where I live). Miserable so and so's.

I'm a classic owner - but dont think there is any trend between classic/new and wavers/miserable gits...
Strikes me the miserable gits are either miserable gits or just havent caught on (it took me half an hour from when I picked mine up to catch on)...
I wave at any scoob - its a community - and god love it...

my cousin was out with me the other day and he couldnt stop going on about the "wave"
he isnt interested in getting a scooby for the sound of the engine or full decat
he wants one for the wave, loves the respect !

Always wave (MY01 WRX Wagon). Used to wave when I had my Stag, waved in my '69 midget, my sister waved in her VW camper and my wife waves in her MX5! If the cars are loved by enthusiasts then you'll get a wave or a flash of lights.
