I was searching goolge for a list of car equipment acronyms, you know like PAS,FSS,...etc and came accross th list below, not what i was looking for but its funny.

BMW = Baader-Meinhof Wagen
The vehicle of choice for the Baader-Meinhof Gang!

FIAT = Fehler In Allen Teilen
Translates as "Failure in every part".
