I've found a showroom selling a WRX V-Limited on a 96N Plate. I've search the SIDC FAQ and they only mention a WRX STI RA V-Limited and a WXR STI V-Limited.

Now, under normal conditions I wouldn't go for an import due to the insurance costs, but having just moved to Scotland, the Insurance appears to be a lot cheaper, so opens up what's available to me.

So, is this model definately an STI?

In either case, what's the difference between an STI and a V-Limited?

a v limted is ltd version for starters and its liek the type ra light wait but wid all da fancy ****.

 

IIRC you could get a WRX V-limited as well as an STi WRX V-Limited, so it is probably advertised correctly and is not an STi.

I thought an RA had all the fancy stuff taken out, so an RA with the fancy stuff put back in is a normal car isn't it?

What are the benefits of a V-Limited to a normal WRX or STI then?

Yeah i have a m96 wrx v-limited No.321/1000 its almost definately a wrx.
