Default How to install gauges & pod?

Hi,

A few questions regarding how to install the following on an STiV ...

Boost gauge: where is the best pressure take off point/which tube to cut?

Knocklink Sensor & display: where is the best place to attach this?

Air/Fuel gauge based on oxygen content of exhaust gases: I am assuming that I splice it into the sensor on the downpipe ... which wire(s) do I use coming from that sensor?

Generally, how/where do I need to route the wires & pressure hose through to the interior of my car? Where do you connect earth and switched 12V line for the gauges (inside/outside the interior?) - is it OK if I tap into the stereo connector for this? Where do I connect the illumination wire on the boost gauges (to 'lights on' switch somewhere I presume)?

I have also got a 2 gauge pod that goes down the side of the window that looks like the original trim apart from the pods - do I have to cut the original trim to fit this?

Cheers
Paul

Thanks for that link - very informative.

Since my original post I have eliminated all but one problem - which wire on the downpipe sensor is the O2 signal for the air/fuel ratio meter? There are 2 white ones & a black one. Can someone refer to my simple layout below and indicate which one to use?

you don't have to go all the way to the lambda sensor for the signal wire, you can pick it up at the ecu.
