Strange vibrating
Ive started to notice that my rear calliper has started to bind under driving around 40-60mph
Sometimes i have also felt a vibration coming from the rear and causing the gear lever to vibrate. Is this related to the brake calliper or could it be a rear diff problem?
Anyone had the same problem before?

Long shot, but if the caliper's been binding for a while, it may, through heat transfer, have knacked the rear wheel bearing by melting the grease around it. Your mention of a vibration through the car reminded me of symptoms of a collapsing wheel bearing on mine. Felt like all the oil had dropped out the diff, and the bearings had gone square! Never owned any other car that felt so seriously unwell from something as simple as this!

Sounds convincing
Ive also noticed that it only happens for about 20-30 seconds and then seems to dissapeer?
Sometimes on lifting the hanbrake gently also seems to stop the very worrying vibration. Anyone got any more ideas so i know what to say to the Mechanics....
