From my investigations in to HKS exhausts i think i remember that the coating is in fact stainless steel, but the main material is mild steel....sort of a half and half really! Still world renowned systems though.

Thanks Guys.
The guy who I am getting it from says it is shiny all over, but when I looked at one on the HKS web site, the centre section was black?

Hi,
The HKS centre section is sort of dark grey (or at least my last Hiper was).
They do not fit on the car with any other make of centre section, you have to use the HKS centre.
I think ScoobySport have custom made centres in the past to support the HKS systems. They certainly made a downpipe for the new age cars that worked with them.
Hope this helps, Alex
