Hi guys a put my disklok (big yellow thing that raps around the wheel) in the boot buy when im going round corners the thing flys around in the bood. Any ideas?

Stick a big piece of Velcro to the centre of it & it should stick to the carpet. I stick mine underneath the front passenger seat.

Disklok do a proper bag for them, they are covered in Velcro and really stick to the boot carpet. Not much about a fiver or so I think I paid for mine....

 

Just reach behind the passenger seat and slot it under - easy access and won't fly around.

ive got the proper dislok bag with velcro that does stick again rear footwell

 

the only problem with the footwell bein if you have a major 'incident' it can become quite a hefty and dangerous weapon

 

hence why its under the passanger seat not mine

Mine's in an old kitbag in the boot. No movement there

 

put a non slip mate in the boot that works

 

Rear passenger side footwell for me too.
If you push the passenger seat back it traps the thing so it won't fly around if you do have an accident.

 

This is what i have also, disk Lock never moves even on hard cornering

 

I would throw it in the bin and get a Dipol fitted. Much easier to use and effective.
I had a disklock on my last car and velcro did the trick, fixing it on the side of the bass box.

ANother one for rear passenger floor well. Fits perfectly and all my passengers stand on it, its fine.

Do you (in this carjacking climate ) want to mess about in the boot when you've just taken the security off ya car??!!!

Rear passenger footwell for me too - Or front passenger footwell if I travel alone. It keeps me company and makes me feel secure

 

further to my post about rear pass footwell, i also put mine in the front if im alone

 

Wheredo I get these none slip mates from......When in I ask my mates to sit in the boot and hold my disklok they're never keen for some reason....
Put mine under driver seat prolly not ideal and will cut my legs off in accident hey but there you go.

 

Leave it on the wheel, understeer is non-existant.

 

I got a non slip mat from Halfrauds about five years ago... cost about £10 and its fantastic. I got quite a weighty warning triangle and 1st aid kit in the boot and it stays put event round the tightest alpine hairpins!
