I haven't logged onto it, but the opening screen is a little too wide for a 1024x768 display, the text on the right only shows:-
WR1
Ultim
Impr
etc etc

Can you make it so it resizes to different display settings?

Good luck!!

I clicked 'agree' to register but it just went straight back to the T&C page.

As a tip, you'll get a lot more traffic if you don't make people register just to view. I hate registering on web sites, it's a pain.

It's the banner that's causing the problem with this, it's 850 pixels wide which means on a 1024 pixel display you have about 150 pixels for the text on the right. Also bear in mind that some people do still use 800x600

The links aren't registering as links in the gallery, you need to copy and paste into a new window, you can't just click on the link.

I agree. Fixed sized table length's and or graphics should collectively not be more than 750 pixels wide. As zhastaph says, you'd be amazed how many ppl still use 800x600 bah! Its best to use 750 pixels just incase ppl use explores side bars etc. It gives a little play

Maybe we could have a WRX & STi forum as well? Oh, & a 5-door forum?

Isnt the WR1 called "Subaru Impreza WRX STi WR1" ??

thanks guys, banner is now 750 pixels wide so hopefully that should help. I dont know why a few of you are having problems registering though , but I read that theres a possibility of it being a problem with Norton A/V or something like that.

edited to add that to show images the [img] 's need to be in lower case

Same here, it just won't go past agree.
I haven't tried yet, but it maybe a firewall thing. I might turn Norton off when I try again.

Good forum mate ... have put a few posts on it already.

Perhaps you could sort it so that you don't have to put in username and password on every post. Or am I missing a box that I could tick to sort that??

Glad its got some interest

Its never meant to be a massive board like SNet , but just because its called WR1 dosn't mean its not open to non WR1 owners (remember 22b ??)

Its still a work in progress and I hope to add a few more features ( front page ,news page , guest book , links to other sites & maybe PM's).

Glad you like it so far, but as I mentioned before , go easy on me as its my first attempt

Why do people feel the need for another Impreza BBS?

So far we have a 22B BBS a Terzo BBS a WR1 BBS an RB5 BBS???

It seems to be abit of elitism! Look at me I have a WR1 or I have a 22B !!!!

Why not put all the effort and knowledge of the SUBARU car into one resource instead of spreading it round qulichy BBSs?

Scoobynet now seems to be for the common poor scooby owner who can not afford a new car everytime a new model is released.

its not meant to be eliteist, but hopefully a definitive knowledge base of the WR1 over time. Its also open to any Impreza owner and not in anyway meant to be exclusive , but out of the 500 WR1 owners how difficult would it be to find the info you want without trawling through 40,000 members posts for every Impreza ever made

as is mentioned a lot of times on this bbs in particular , if you dont like it , dont look

again, I'm hoping eventually to have a place where the owners can look to get instant ,first hand info

Regards I~WR1

Wurzel, there is of couse the P1 website

I can understand the need for the specialist edition websites as they are more focused on the needs of the cars in question. Youre more likely to get a reasoned and experienced reply from the specialist forums than on somewhere like scoobynet, and of course the sense of camaraderie is that much higher as 99% of the posters have actually got the car in question unlike on scoobynet, where most people dont seem to have an impreza even

It's a valuable knowlege pool for owners and prospective owners. These cars are very different to standard cars and the other Subaru special editions. therefore owners will want to share their experiences/problems with other owners - it will enable us to do that easily as (hopefully) a large majority of owners will log onto it!

VERY different?

So an STi with PPP, Prodrive springs & 18" wheels is VERY different from a WR1? Isn't it a smidge elitist instead? Surely it's more valid to have a separate BBS for JDM cars? The WR1 is a little different, but no more than say the difference between a UK WRX & JDM STi?
