Trax2000 Session Insurance
#1
Just spoke to Nick form Egger Lawson, they are going to be present at Silverstone for those wanting to take out insurance for their 15mins sessions.
Prices are not confirmed yet, but expect to pay about £20-£30.
They are also doing cover for the SIDC Donnington Track day @ £95 for £10,000 cover.
I expect they will also sort something out for the RSOC Track National Day. So why not boost the Scooby Numbers and mingle amongst the RS Boyz.

Scott,
Thanks for that, you've saved me alot of time on the phone to insurance companies!
I don't suppose you know the procedure with crash helmets, I was going to borrow a mates motorbike helmet, but after reading other threads I'm not so sure.
Confused but hopefully not dazed,
Justin

I'm not sure about the Helmet Saga.
I've got a Gold Approved helmet anyway, so it's not a problem for me.
You can pick up Gold Labeled Lids from most Motocycle shops, I think starting from about £50.
My Bieffe Marlboro Lid was only £100 and the wife's AGV was only £70. Both are fully approved for Racing (That's what the Gold Label means).
I hope this Helps...
