Question

Hi all,

I'm hunting around at the moment to find a dealer to service my 12mnth old Dutch MY99 in the North East.

Quotes I've received so far are between £199 & £280 including body service.

One dealer tried to persuade me not to get the body service done, as in his opinion it wasn't worth it. He said they've never had a claim under the body warranty and that they rarely re-do the under-sealing.

Does any one have any thoughts on whether the body service is necessary?

Regards

Daz

Dazza,

You can guarantee that if you don't get it done you'll have a problem and if you do get it done everything will be fine. Sods law as they say.

I think the body service shouldn't cost that much (do a search there was some posts on this a while ago). But my 15k service was only £120 so £280 sounds extreme to me (even with the body service).
