Default Impreza slides.....

Just out of curiosity has anyone else experienced a sideways slip while driving hard(ish) round tight corners? this is my first Impreza and I was under the belief that they were pretty good at holding the road, OK i'm aware of the oversteer/understeer on these cars.. but all four wheels slipping at the same time is a bit hairy.... is it my tyres????????

Liam, if you have the wr1 you are the first to have the trick adjustable diffs in a UK car (you lucky man )

With the power of the wr1 and the diff set all the way back, the car is more than capable of 4 wheel drift out of sharp bends, but with the added safety of the front wheels helping to pull you straight.

It *should* be nice and controllable. If not, either get some circuit instruction, or get the tyre pressures / geometry checked.
