Default STI 8 Price / discount

I have just been to my local dealer for my first Scooby - going for a new STI8. He said the price was £24,995 however within minutes he had dropped it to £24,250. How low has anyone been able to get one for from a main UK dealer. (help with the haggling)

Also have people been able to get free services etc???

Hi
I have heard of guys getting new sti's for just under 24k from a main dealer. Try playing them off against each other.. Also a good time to haggle is just before the end of the month when they have to make up their sales figures.. Possible not a good time at present to haggle on price as they likely to have sold a few due to the new reg soon.. but if you can wait to after sept then you might get a better deal.
Thought about trying for a euro UK spec import STI - loads of places have then for around 20k including motorpoint (www.motorpoint.co.uk).
good luck anyway

Got mine at the end of June for £23.5k and I think that was over priced now when I see threads about Motorpoint etc being sub £20k. Also got springs for £350 and PPP for £1800.
May consider changing it for a JDM 05 STI later in the year.

I got mine coming for 1st August and paid £23,500 from a main dealer. Decided to spend the rest on the PPP kit, so £25,500 in total.
Got a Momo gear **** and a set of STi maps included.
I have S77 PPP (STI PPP) number plate to put on it.
18 days and counting :-)

The car I pick up next week is not brand new but it is an STI8 with PPP, 8 months old with 5,000 miles on the clock. The car is absolutely spotless, I paid £21,200 for it.

That sounds a good price for a car that someone else has run in for you.

This is a question I keep forgetting to ask my local dealer. Why not free servicing on STi's. I cant think of the technical reason for this (that, given my slow brain, doesn't mean there isn't one). We're paying a **** load more for a more tunable car and don't get this 'perk'. Do you think that IM market research guys think that STi buyers are completely different animals and will spend stupid amounts of cash on various mods and therefore will not even question this offer? It looks like I've just described myself!

try drivethedeal.com they are Uk broker price £23220.00 or print it out and take it to your dealer to match. Tins.co.uk is also a good place.

I paid £23700 when they first come out and waited for 03 reg inc mats.

My mate paid £22900 in April 04 for one pitching the dealers against one and other.

Quite a number of dealers will chuck in at least a free PPP for the UK list prce of an STI alone...
