Had quite a shock yesterday whilst driving along my local duel carriage way.
I was in the left hand lane and saw a bus indicating to pull out. Being polite I slowed in my scoob to let him do so.

I then moved to the outside lane to over take when a road work sign that obviously hadnt been sercured down properly, blew out and decided to stop right in front of me!!!
Wack! Crunch! Bugger!!!

Luckily I managed to get all the red marks out of my front bumper with a drop of t-cut and alot of elbow grease, but it could have been so much worse.
Funny thing is, it was the first time id driven her for a week!!

Anyone else had road side objects with minds of their own?

 

I was driving down a narrow country lane with high hedges on either side in a Merc sprinter at a fair rate of knots when "BANG" the side window just suddenly seemed to explode and covered me in glass.

Thought at first I'd been shot at but on returning to where it happened saw an old road sign was sticking out of the hedge at the same height as my mirror which had been hit,knocked off and smashed the side window.

A matress came off the car in front one day, dodged right and the bloody thing followed me, dodged left, same again, came to a stop with much appologies from the owner
