Lightweight or unfinished car?

Lightweight or unfinished car?
Finally decided I needed a scoob in my life, so took the plunge and bought one from Motorpoint. Other forum threads gave mixed views of MP so I thought I'd take my chances. As mentioned in another thread there are no side airbags and no plastic wheel arch covers so I was prepared for this, however, I'm not sure if there are other things different...
Can anyone tell me if this is how my boot and rear number plate recess should look?

I've never owned a car where I could see the inner skin of the car from either the inside (boot) or outside (number plate recess). MY04 WRX, (supposedly) UK spec, first registered this month so although from Malta should carry a full UK warranty.
Unfinished or not, I'm confident I've chosen the right type of car: although I'm still running it in I can feel the difference in power already (CTR before) and I've had plenty of friendly waves from other scooby owners
Nearly done the 1000miles, 964 this morning - it's close......

the plate thing looks normal which was part of the reason i got a custom one made to size so the silly hole would be filled, boot is lacking the carpet etc i guess & er pass on the suspension/arch thing....

Good enough for me. It was the number plate hole that I was most concerned about. The boot does have a carpeted floor and walls, the angle of the shot wasn't very good sorry - it's actually a picture of the inside of the boot lid.
Thanks for the replies.
