You got any piccies of it fitted to your scoob? If, so I'd be interested to see them. (my current arrangement is pictured below )
Is it safe to go rounds bends quick whilst bikes are mounted above?
I know with the one i've fitted it works well but not too keen on the straps on the bodywork and the inability to access the boot while the bikes are onboard.

I would strongly advise to go for the thule system and use the thule bike racks that you take the front wheel off the bike. I used to use a scoob wagon for my mountain bike team and the front-wheel-out system can easily get to 130mph without big problems. nowadays we just use bike bags from UltraSport UK Ltd (neil pryde) and stick three of them into the back of my bugeye wagon.
We lost a back window on an MPV from one of those rear racks because the vibration and weight on the rear door must have shattered the rear window. in mtb racing, the rear racks (that don't use a tow hook) are known for ghost riders (bikes falling off the back on the motorway)
here's an old pic before PPP and 4 pot brakes on my race bike:

Mmm nice bike mate, where are you looks a bit like thetford.
I would recomend the thule system its reliable, tuv tested and its a modular system so theres a good chance you will only have to change one part for a different car the 761 bars and 750 foot pack are very very very comman.

I've used a rear rack for years (10+) on a variety of cars, and I've never had any problems, but I always use more strapping than the manufacturers give you.
But I'm thinking of changing as the straps rub against the bodywork and have produced some marks.
