Ive been looking for a scooby and but as I am still a novice in the scooby world and not that sure on model specs, I have seen the following car at the link below:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...489176386&rd=1
Am I right in saying that this model has got approx 235bhp and would I say that a price of about £7K is about right?

Look on www.sidc.co.uk the faq's. It'll tell you the ps which is very slightly more than the bhp. Should be around 260-275 I think. £5,000 is more than enough for an old wrx. I have seen them on here, locally advertised, and in Autotrader for £4,000. Having said that it looks pretty clean! Check out the insurance before yopu bid though, might be a shock for you there!

A MY93/MY94 will have 240ps, 236bhp.
If its had a full de-cat plus induction that will raise it by 20-30bhp hence 256-266bhp.
But that is on 100RON fuel, hence to get that power you would need to run it on Optimax plus Octane Booster.
Also there is a MY00 (2000 Model) on SIDC forum (www.sidc.co.uk) for £7k, and ther others for £6.5 (MY98).
