Finally I'm going to be able to enjoy Impreza ownership. I was having serious problems sorting out insurance for my 1994 WRX after Tescos said they wouldn't insure me anymore. I phoned around 48 insurance companies and a lot of so called specialists who deal in imported cars and all said that I had to be over 25. I was ready to give up but then phoned Prudential who rocked. Not only will they cover me but it's only going to cost me £1000 TPFT which includes my ban in 2001! I couldn't rave about them enough. So, on 15th October when my WRX arrives, I'll be sorted.

Whats the deal with tax and MOT when picking an imported car up. It will be registered to me when it comes off the boat but I need to drive it back to southampton to tax and mot it. Has anyone got any ideas or had any problems with police when doing this? Cheers
