MY00/99 Colours
Am lining up some cars to see on saturday (and doing my best not to be put off by reading all the posts about running costs !). From a resale point of view which colour is most desirable on the classic ? I have my eye on a green one, with a great spec, but am nervous about the colour, they don't appear to be the easiest things to sell on , let alone having the "wrong colour".
Help !!

MY99 Turbo Colours (In order for resell):
Dark Blue Mica or Royal Silver
Bright Red
Dark Green Mica
Pure White
MY00 Turbo Colours (In order for resell):
Deep Blue Mica or Royal Silver
Red Mica
Dark Green Mica
Pure White
Bear in mind, all of the above is in my opinion for UK cars! If we were talking Japanese cars, then white is quite popular.
Don't take offense guys, I've had a Dark Green Mica car (although the other two were Royal Silver and Deep Blue Mica!!! ) and I love the Red Mica colour, but you'll notice some dealers hate getting white or green cars as they know they are more difficult to sell (or at least that's what I was told... by my dealer!)

Unfortunatly white cars just don't sell very well in the U.K., difficult to keep clean etc.
Some people think green cars are unlucky (they may be some truth in this, blends better with hedges etc, so not quite as easy to see), hence these may also be a bit harder to shift secondhand.

Sonic blue is one of my personnel favourites but wasnt avaliable for MY99/00
So decided on Dark Blue Mica............either way cant go wrong with Blue.
I reckon if not blue then I would have to go with White due to the fact you dont see many about and with the right mods look totally awesome (in my opinion anyway). Couple of piccys for ya

I was thinking of mica red when ordering mine but the dealer advised against it, couldnt shift 'em off his forecourt he said.
I went for royal silver in the end but it was a toss up between that and the dark mica blue.
