Car Broke in to last night :(
Last night between 8:30 / 10:30 @ My Vue Cinema Cribbs Causeway Bristol my pride and joy got robbed of all its boot contents
The BA$TARD$ stole my Sub Box which included a 12" Alpine Type R sub (model swr1221d) and a Kenwood 1000w Mono amp (model kac8151d). And to make things worse I had gone out that night an bought a xbox from Trade-It and that was still in the boot and they took that too!!!!!
I am utterly pi$$ed off as my insurance wont really cover it as i have a £450 excess and personal items are only valued up to £100.
If anyone get's offered any of the above items i would appreciate your help.
One more thing, my boot lock is wrecked and there is also a minor dent where they have forced the lock

Sorry to hear about that mate.
Saw an article in Revs magazine that might cheer you up a little. They stashed in a car in a well known area for break ins and waited in the back of a transit van. When a theif came along and had a go at the car they all jumped out and gave him a good kicking. Now, I can't condone this sort of behaviour but it did make me chuckle......................lots.

what do you want us to do, make him a cup of tea?
lets lay all the cards on the table, these people have probably heard off, actually heard this car driving around with loads of gear in the back, hence why they popped the back
were any other cars in the area raped of there boot contents?

Sorry about the breakin. Why did they pick your car? Why the boot? Obvious expensive ICE?
I use the Vue car-park regularly .... never thought of it as being a bad place to park.

Out of interest, how obvious were you with the x-box prior to putting it into your boot? I'm always cautious when buying anything of that nature, as it seems so easy to give a prospective thief good idea of which car to break into. Same with having you music on really loud - its a bit like broadcasting that you've got a load of subs/amps etc in your car.

Thanks for the replies lads
I did not advertise the xbox in any way at all, it went in my boot when i got it and never got opened after i parked. Neither did i have my stereo on when i entered the car park. My guess is that maybe someone had seen me driving around b4 and recognised the car and the xbox was just lucky. Or possible because my car was round the back of the car park and it was easy pickings. Either way total tw@ts who really need to get a life, get a job and sort themselves out. Pr!cks.

sorry to hear about this, but i have to point out, this is definetly not luck.. that carpark is "hot" and a while back at least 5 motors all got done parked alongside each other
if there are no spaces up by the restaurant/pub area etc then park back by where the drive-thru customers park up. leaving a half tidy motor (or just about anything to be honest!) unattended in the main car park is just asking for trouble, sad but true..

break in
sorry to hear that your car got done
we park at the mall all the time as the wife is a shopaholic, many a time we have came out to find people looking around the car but luckaly never touched
most of the time we try to park under the camaras
or in high viz area but nowere is totaly safe
a cheap alarm is a good deterant the two wire type so if a window is broken or someone opens a door against yours it goes off
