Halfruads do a haynes Impreza guide, not the usual haynes type, this is specifically for turbo's from the first up to the bugeye newage. It covers tuning, mods etc as well as usual haynes stuff.

I looked at it only yesterday (thought about buying it until I saw £18.99!)

Not sure about the detail for imports though?

You and Your Impreza, is the haynes one you want. Its not your usual "assembly is the opposite of dissasembly" type haynes book, but it gives a good bit of background on the cars if your doing a bit of research into buying one.

Get one off Amazon. I did.

Cheers

'You & your Impreza Turbo' might be published by Haynes, but it's not an owners' workshop manual. It's a book about the history and spec of the car, amazingly comprehensive (inc. imports) and pretty accurate too, but it doesn't tell you anything about how to dismantle or repair the car. If it's a traditional Haynes manual you're after, forget it.

There are dealers' workshop manuals on CD floating around eBay - they might be your best bet.

I ordered this directly from MRT in Australia and i'm sure one ofthe scooby specialists over here stocks it.

It has a bit more detail than the Haynes one and explains about tuning options and theories but still won't help you strip an engine or similar though.

As above, you can get the technical manuals from various sources, try a google search.

Roy.

On the subject of the Haynes "You and your Imprezza" book, I have a mint copy for sale

£10 for the book, give £15 and Ill throw in the Duke Video about the Imprezza too

Prefer a collection rather than mucking about posting(which would cost extra)

Im in Northants, can also get them to Beds or Bucks.....

If you want a Haynes workshop manual the nearest is for the USDM Legacy:

http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...=Legacy%20(USA)

Also see this thread:

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...=haynes+manual

Which does not seem to be working unfortunately:
