I've got a spoiler on my scoob and an afterburner vortex exhaust and a dump valve, and yes I even own a baseball cap not that I wear it much. What am I thinking, I should behave and abide by what the majority thinks is acceptable... lol Well if all this makes me a boy racing chav in the eyes of the public, so be it.... F$ck 'em I say, life's too short to worry about it.

Bottom line is, you fit bolt ons to your car. Your a car nut - your more likely to thrape it to death as you are a boy racer - just some are in denial
Would I buy a car with a stupid oversized blitz backbox?...<ahem> NO!

Hmmm, I kinda see where they are coming from with the exhaust thing, but there is an important qualification to be made: that of the car it's fitted to.
Fitting a loud exhaust to an asthmatic Nova or Saxo is just plain daft: they sound sh*te and it makes the owner look pretentious...I've always found it quite funny though.
However, I defy anyone not to be -at very worst- indifferent to a decent exhaust on a proper performance car that accentuates an already good sound rather than just turn the volume "up to 11" on a crappy sound!
I know one thing: when I blip the throttle on my scooby (standard part from a nice fruity H&S backbox), people turn and smile. The flat four is up their with the best of the exhaust notes! I've yet to see a disgruntled or dissaproving face, or be on the receiving end of a rude gesture or verbal outbust.....Maybe I just can't hear them over the noise??
Best....
PS. Vroom, burble, burble, burble.

Very nice pictures....did you see the one in today's copy! Anyway, I digress!
I don't think the sun have been praising chav culture directly, in fact I think they've been making light of it in a fairly inoffensive way in most of their articles....probably for fear of alienating many of their readership!
However, I guess they do support it indirectly by exhibiting so much interest in what the main proponents of chav culture -e.g. Jordon et al- are up to. Hard to see whether their interest is motivated by a reflection on the percieved readership or just by contempt sometimes, though. That kind of reporting always seems to have an element of a "feakshow" about it to me
Anyway, who says the Sun even has a target audience: ***** are such a great common denominator!
