I would imagine they use the same kit anyway, as the 05MY STi engine is much the same as 04MY. All they change is an intercooler hose, exhaust and fuel pump along with the ECU remap. 05MY STi is mainly suspension/handling improvements and a new interior.
I wouldn't expect a bigger bhp map as it would be in Prodrive's best interests to keep the WR1 as its flagship (for now).

So I've been told, the 320PS version of the PPP will not be available for the 04/05 Sti.

It'll be out when they've sold the last of the WR1's and MY04's. My thinking is they need some incentive to clear stocks...and PPP coupled with price reductions is that for impatient blokes like me.

I'd agree with you there Apparently the Prodrive PFF7's to fit the new PCD will be available soon

i totally agree with old fart although they do appear to have problems shifting the last wr1's-just like the last p1's-if people wait a couple of months there could be some big bargains-i remember some brand new p1'swith delivery mileage selling for £29,000!! and some dealers are already selling wr1's for £28,000.
i heard the new ppp is pretty close to wr1

Not meaning to be picky… really. But the intercooler pipe isn’t changed.
I do agree that the engine should be exactly the same, so the 03-04 PPP should fit straight on.

Think they will sell all the WR1's first.... otherwise why buy one if you can get one £5k cheaper (UK STI 05)

Thumbs up

Here is a copy from web site and pasted below

305 PS Prodrive-Developed Performance Pack Continues

A popular option – the 305 PS Prodrive-developed performance pack – continues to be available for the ’05 Impreza STi.
Costing £1,995 including 2.5 hours for dealer fitment, the power upgrade also sees torque leap to 299 lb ft. This results in a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds, a 0-100 mph time of 12.2 seconds and a top speed exceeding 155 mph.

I can give a difinitive answer to those of you who are doubting that there will actually be an 05 PPP - Spoke to the Subaru engineer today at Prodrive - he confirmed that there will be minor alterations to the pack, but otherwise it will be much the same as the 04 PPP. It will be available for sure towards the latter end of November. He mentioned NOTHING of a 320bhp (wr1) ppp for the 05 sti either

Hi T5NYW! Thought you'd fallen out of love with Scoobies (even if still keeping a benevolent eye on the board!) When I was last active in the spring you (apparently) couldn't get a WR1 for love or money, with people posting to try to find dealers with unsold allocations: My dealer had sold his. Now, apparently still available??? Extra numbers put into the system like P1?? People went off them and cancelled orders??

Only ever see two 'in the wild'

Hello Phil!

Got my suspension done again on Wednesday - I'll let you know how it goes, but so far so good.

WR1's are still available, I think a lot of people cancelled their orders when the new STI spec came out with the DCCD etc.

I did have one on order, but cancelled due to the awfull trade price(in my opinion). Although the price the dealers was offering did'nt seem so bad when I posted on here.

Cheers,

Shaun

No extra ones made As said some Cancelled order for various reasons, some even listened to all the Bollox during their long wait.

Also got my original PPP'd MY02 STi (UK) [Runs scared of Greasemonkey]. Alas last friday rather more than scratched doing dressage manoeuvres in Headcorn High Street..... must have thought I was on my horse at the time. Nasty: had to put nearside into mud and water slick beside rural road, then 30 seconds later got a mega-mega oversteer pulling right into Headcorn High Street. Visited several gardens on the snap-back

44 hours and lots of plastic and tin required but all oily bits 100% OK (drove it home when the mayhem subsided). Increased Premium will be a bit of a Bu**er, tho'

Pondering an '05/PPP in crystal grey or a Forrester 2.5 (to tow the horses) when changeover time comes in March.

Cheers

Phil
