you can't beat the reaction of a scoob virgin!
I remember letting my 59 year old mum loose in the sti, we got out to a nice country stretch when I found myself grinning like a t**t and shouting "hit It mum hit it!" to which she floored it we hit a nice 18 psi and she squealed like mad and made noises I had only heard heard her making when I was a child and my dad was doing something stupid and dangerous!
classic experiences I will trearish forever!!!

Fast is a relative term. If your only road experience is driving 1.0 litre Micras, being a regular passenger on a double decker bus, or driving a Corsa with 50 kilos of body kit, of course a Scoob would feel fast. (This is why most chavs who move from Corsa/Saxo to Scooby will testify how "fooking quick" they are)

Two lads who work at the same place as me, walk past my house everyday. Its just a Ten minute walk. So i gave them both a lift
The car was nice a warm from a previous journey and didn't take long to do the 1/2 mile journey, nearly got her into 5th once They were like a pair of nodding dogs and looked a little green when the got out the car
The next day it was absoulutely P*ssing down, I was getting the car out the drive and the pair came past refused my offer of a lift, strange that.

From: The Terry Crews of moderation. P P P P P P POWER!!
Danny B....You're just being greedy! :-)
I know many on here have extracted significantly more power from their Scoobys, but we should not loose sight of the fact that even in std form they can do 0-60 in five and a half and the same for the 30-70. That's a quick car!!! The fact that you can get it to go quicker, or that there are a few more cars these days that have similiar performance figures does not detract from this!
Mind you I hear Xtreme have a group buy on Ecutek, I'm quite tempted! I could turn my quick car into an even quicker car!! :-)
Should probably get my brakes uprated first though, eh! :-D
Best,

No what I meant was, my car originally was 215bhp, this felt fast for a few months.
Then a full decat was fitted, probably up to 240bhp now, this felt fast again.
Then when that wore off I got a Ecutek 3 to squeeze the last bit of power out, probably now up to 275bhp.
That felt fast for a few more months and then I got bored with the car so I flogged it.
