Scoobynet...Home of the Honest.
I have just bought some wheels off a guy. They were advertised on Scoobynet.
The wheels are the 5th or 6th thing I have bought off here other items include a VF30 turbo, SECS data monitor and a version 1 STi. Everything I have ever bought has been exactly as described.
I cannot imagine any other forum to be quite so reliable in its members honesty. It is almost as safe as buying from a shop.
Hope everyone else has had good buying experiences......if not then maybe it was you

Don't get complacent tho, some guy will read this for example and think "I spy a few people waiting to be ripped off"
Use your common sence and hopefull things will stay happy.

I've sold one thing on here. Stupidly sent it on the promise of payment. That was three months ago and have not seen the cash despite multiple communications. Wont be doing that again in a hurry. You know who you are!

The chap who owes the part to Hugo has just pm'd me with the reasons why. I do not want to post them but he says that Hugo is fully aware of the problems. In light of the pm I feel that it is not my place to cast judgement either way & I hope that Hugo & the other party sort it out amicably (sp?)

mmm i have heard the above reasons and they seem pretty pitiful, the person in question should pay the money as imho he is taking the p**s with an excuse for every day of the week.funny how he has not responded himself with hugh waiting months for his money!!

And to be honest its no ones business !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I changed my username as i had lost the password for a my old one Sti-04!!
Over the last few months i have had a majorly bad time, lets put it this way who in there right mind would go from a 150k house to moving back in with there parents & also selling there MY04 Sti for a major loss & running around in a cheap diesel corsa if there wasnt a problem ffs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugh will get his £100 for the Dump Valve
Now keep your nose out of my business

This thread is a perfect example of why we don't want to go into this stuff on the board. They are better handled in private. There are always two sides to every story and I have no wish to speculate on who is right and who is wrong. Please keep the thread on topic - or it will be closed.

To get the thread back on topic heres a bag I would be willing to sell if the right offer came along -
I am the only owner and I have owned it since Saturday. Never let me down(unlike the poxy Tesco bags). I will be very sorry to see it go but circumstances have forced me into it.
Offers via PM, Email or you can call me on 0898 g0atpr0n.

I've always enjoyed buying and selling stuff on scoobynet, (ECU's, IC's, etc) although my missus might disagree............sat in the car for over an hour while I chatted to a fellow member about scoobs (Purchased a radiator)....sorry honey
I think as long as everyone goes about buying/selling with a modicom of common sense then it works in everyones favour.
Another vote for the ebay style feedback system.
