Question

Have you ever been? Any good? Sounds pretty good for £10. Lots of Scoobies competing

Is anyone going or would be interested?

Loctite National RallySprint Championship

Take some of Britain's top rally drivers and line them up to go head to head over the challenging Roger Clark Circuit at Silverstone with its combination of hairpins, water splash and yumps. The result is the 2000 Loctite National RallySprint Championship, an action packed programme of motor sport designed with the spectator in mind.

Just to make you feel better - I made exactly the same post on the old scoobynet and no-one replied to that either. Sadly I never went!

Cheers, Jac!

I feel so much better now!

How about going this year? So that we can post replies for next year's visitors!

The Silverstone one on the 12th - free? Well, that's even better! However their web site says £10 (or £8 in advance). It also said something like if you go to 2 of the stages you get the 3rd one free (so may be that's what they meant at Coys).

Anyway... Is it good? Worth seeing? I've never been to a Rally Sprint event before.

harj

I think we should enter together and hammer round in convoy!! (nobody could catch us!! )

Seriously..
I may be up for it, depending on work load (and how much time a recently aquired hoby takes up!!! )

Regards

Simon

Dave,

It's OK. I got it the first time - no need to repeat yourself

Thanks for the info!

I'll try to make it sound like a good FAMILY day out - Better Half and Baby won't let me go by myself...

Still not sure whether I'll go yet but its definately free. It says this on the ticket booking part of the web site and I just spoke to a nice young lady on the phone who confirmed free parking and admission, just turn up. I asked why this round was free - coz the Director said so - can't complain!

Cheers
