Angry MUG FLAPS

Ordered my P1 mini mud flaps (Thanks Hugo) from main dealer to be fitted at 1,000 mile service. They charged £30 for fitting (about the same price as the flaps) BUT...it took them 3 attempts and 3 hours to get them to fit while U wait!! After first attempt they jet washed the car and the front pins piinged off, oh well

Are you pleased? Told you they are a bu55er to fit! Mine are still sitting on the passenges side floor! Any top tips would be appreciated and get some pics on here!

PS Youve gotta be careful jet-washing flaps...could be embarrasing if a trip to the hospital is the result

Goodness, me, I fitted these to my classic wagon, flaps cost £19.95 or thereabouts, and they literally took 5 minutes to fit by me, and they have never fallen off. Been on there for about 12 months now. What kind of amateurs take 3 hours to fit these ? Muppets!!!

Wink

Lucky they didn't charge you £60 per hour or whatever the rip off rate is.

I'm just getting this mental impression of an Impreza with a couple of tea cups attached to the side skirts

Chuffed for the price mate and thanks again. Will photo my flaps for you soon, but the wife gets a bit funny about me getting on my knees with a camera

Top tips:

1 get the dealer to quote before fitting (half hour they said )
2 Get Hugo to send you the specific part numbers so they cant deny they exist (they tried to)
3 feel at peace with yourself in discssing your flaps openly with other men
