Power-washing around the windows of a car with frameless windows is asking for trouble. In fact directing the jet at the seals of a 'normal' door will often result in a leak. Simple solution, just don't jetwash this area. Wouldn't expect the dealer to say any different.
Doctor my arm hurts if I hold it like this. Well don't hold it like that then

Might have a fix for the squeaky belt. If it speaks when extending, it is likely to be the polystyrene reinforcement inside the trim. Just pop the trim off and trim back.
Mine did the same, dealer gave up, so hope the above helps, should the dealer not fix.
Good luck with the rest.......

Hi
I have a 6 month old STi with PPP. I noticed fuel consumption was down and a smell of petrol, especially when the tank was full to one half full.
To his credit the dealer did not fob me off with the "its your right foot sir thats causing the problem" and instead had a good look. They found the seal on the fuel pump had warped. They replaced the seal and no more problems (fingers crossed).
If they can't cure the petrol smell it might be one more thing worth checking.
