Can somebody who's had a warranty claim from Subaru and been given a hire car while their car was in being repaired answer me a question? Basically I want to know what the max number of days the warranty people will cover the hire car for.

I'm now being told that it's only 5 days and I'm being stung for the balance of 2 weeks whilst my car was geting it's gearbox repaired..... The warranty is an extended warranty that was purchased whilst the car was still under the original warranty.

When I had my gearbox in for warranty work recently I had a dealer courtesy car for nearly 3 weeks. Why was it a "hire car", was it not one of the dealers cars?

Dealer didn't have any available at the time....

I'd have a word with the dealer & ask him to sort something out for you, worth a try as he is repairing your car.
