Default WRX MPG

Hi All

What mpg do you guys get from your new age WRX's? I have a 54 WRX with 2500 miles. I know the engine is still running in, but only get 200 miles out of a full tank, that's only 15mpg! The most of my driving is to work and back, bout 5 miles each way, with a bit of driving harder when the engine is fully warm.

I feel this is too low, do you guy's agree?

Very similar to my MY99 - no mods - like the sound of a switchable map though

2004 WRX average about 30 on mostly M25 commute ~70 miles/day not taking any particular care over consumption. Nearer 27 if traffic particularly c**p as has been lately or more short trips, nearer 32-33 on long steady run

MY02 WRX

£35 of BP Ultimate was giving me between 205 and 225 miles ( around town with moderate driving and the odd thrashing )

£35 of Esso Supreme is giving me between 230 and 260 miles, again around town moderate driving, but i have been thrashing the car alot more.

I seem to be getting better MPG with the ESSO stuff but thats probably down to the fact its cheaper than BP.

21-28 on Optimax, 03MY PPP.

I filled with Esso SUL for the first time this week, due to the high cost of Optimax, 90p + around here. Performance seems similar and the MPG, judging by the guage being on 3 quarters after 100 miles, does not seem to have fallen. And ONLY 86p/litre.

Filled with BP crap once and returned 18MPG, on a motorway journey that normally gives me 28!!!!
