Should they smell?
Its quite a distinct smell i've had since having the pads and discs changed on the front of my MY98. Put it down to them bedding in, but now done prob about 800 miles on them.
Otherwise very pleased with them.
And could prob get quite used to the "racey" smell - better than Air-glade etc anyway!!!

 

you can get a bit of a whiff of the bonding compound when you are bedding them in, or if you have driven very hard on recently bedded pads and then stop before they are cooled, i cant say i noticed anything when driven at normal road pace or once they are fully heat cycled though.

Thats with ceramic reds.
